How to grow your youtube channel?

How to grow your youtube channel?

A few months ago I decided to start a YouTube channel and the initial goal was to make it easier for me to share some helpful ideas on some topics related to marketing, SEO and life as we know it.

I’ve been a freelancer / freelancer since 2013 when my first job came through, but I had not a steady income from that work. So all of this changed in 2014 when I got accepted into an online course called “Social Media Marketing for dummies” and made it a habit to keep learning content writing for our projects while we were still working full time.

Then things started getting serious, I wanted to get a Youtube channel so I could start sharing what I am currently learning. So, here are some tips and tricks and how to grow your youtube channel.

1- Be consistent

It is very easy for you to find yourself making mistakes in your videos. Sometimes you have to watch the same video over and over again. In order to avoid this, be consistent about your videos, don’t try to go viral every time you upload something new.

Don’t just give you best advice, try to show what you believe. Try to learn something new everyday and then post it on your channel.

2- Don’t forget about promoting

I used to make up links in my videos, but now I make sure to promote them myself, by posting them for example once at least 1,000 times if not more to reach people who might like it (and you probably will too). You should also spend at least 3-4 hours per week promoting your content because nowadays many people are looking for useful information. This can be done through social media or by doing targeted google ads or even word of mouth. Also, keep adding titles on your videos about relevant keywords. Use hashtags (that are popular) so people can find more stuff related to the topic you are talking about and give examples if possible.

3- Show your knowledge

It is important to understand where you stand and what you can do with Youtube. For example, let’s say you want to explain how to run Google Ads. There are lots of tutorials, tutorials and guides for bloggers on Youtube. When you start out, keep asking yourself questions like

What is the most searched word on google related for YouTube

How many views I have before someone searches for it?

How much money will it cost?

How long it takes to do this?

How many hours I need?

How to improve my ranking on YouTube?

So, the key is to always keep these questions in mind and make sure to answer them on video. If you succeed, people will find your work more valuable and they will subscribe to it. And if you don’t know whether you have a good understanding of everything, I encourage you to do research and try one thing and see as many results as possible. What is your experience doing X or Y or Z?

4- Always remember that competition isn’t bad.

When you see a video with 2,000 views, you usually think about how good your work would be. But it doesn’t always give you a clear picture about your level of success, especially if you don’t have any kind of competition. Make sure to have at least a minimum of 100 million views before you consider making comparisons yourself. In fact, the only way to get better results than others without having your own blog is to gain popularity and gain more subscribers.

5- Build your following.

Once you have established your audience, you want to make sure to build it around Youtube. Don’t just focus on promoting random interesting things, keep them coming back. The great part is this is free! Just try to watch more and watch more videos with engaging contents.

That being said, make sure to maintain your followers and add new content every day, just because you find something new and interesting. By building your community your chances of becoming successful increase dramatically.

6- Give away great stuff.

There are two kinds of giveaway – giveaways and giveaways. Most websites are good at offering giveaways and giveaways, although most Youtube creators are against the idea considering that both can do a lot better. On the other hand, it is a lot easier to giveaway products or services if the creator has a large fanbase. I personally prefer to donate 10% of my earnings to charity though since the proceeds will be going to less fortunate souls.

7- Produce daily content.

Make sure to produce daily content and constantly work towards releasing amazing content. Set goals and keep them as short as possible. Create video clips and have no limits on it. That being said, you aren’t limited to uploading one clip a day and watch it in total. It wouldn’t be cool to watch 4 different videos every day, it does not really matter to have a decent following.

If you start filming vlogs, make sure they look entertaining.

8- Stay authentic.

Be your true self and not the perfect person you think you are. No matter how popular you get, never let anyone tell you otherwise. Even though you are famous and respected, always stay believable and respectful. You can always change it after a year, but trust me, it pays off in the end.

9- Focus on improving your skills instead of trying to do things perfectly.

Focus on improving the quality of work you are doing and don’t try to be perfect.

10- Don’t wait for the right opportunity to come, do things today.

Don’t wait for a big promotion or to be selected in a specific contest. Do things for your channel and see if something works. Keep doing things to improve. This helps a lot in maintaining a positive feedback loop.

11- Make sure to check back often

Keep going! Check your statistics regularly so you can see whether other channels are doing well. Keep checking what types of content work best and when to take action on it.

12- Experiment with different styles.

Don’t stop experimenting with different formats and different ways of putting them together, it will help you grow your channel rather than just repeating the exact same things you did last month. Learn what people enjoy and what makes them react to things. Get creative and play around with different looks that you aren’t the typical Youtube personality. You will be able to experiment with various angles. Remember, you don’t have to stick to what you already like. Have fun.

13- Share tips and tips.

Try to share some practical and useful tips with your viewers. Not only that, show them how to use particular tools and services available online. For example, if you didn’t create anything with the product mentioned above, then mention that tool to demonstrate its usage.

If you don’t have enough time or don’t have a schedule to post new content everyday, talk about what works and what doesn’t. The best way to learn is through practice and by using resources that will help you grow your content.

The easiest way to grow your Youtube channel is to stick to what you already do. Follow what works for you. After all, you are working on the right stuff no?
